Stour Valley Church
The Stour Valley church has been a house church seeking to reach into rural communities. This has meant that while a few of us live in Blandford we actually have our Sunday meetings over in the British Legion Hall, North Street, Winterborne Stickland. At the moment most of our members come from that area. We are small in numbers but seek to provide a friendly atmosphere where people can enjoy worshipping God in an informal setting.
We meet at 10.30am each Sunday and like to enjoy a drink and a biscuit before our worship time which starts at 11.00am. Our programme includes prayer and bible study together with more social events and these are often held in people's homes on Wednesday evenings.
Our leaders are Andrew Drummond and Neil Salmen.
